Unfortunately, his mother also passed away which only added to Curt's emotional pain. But, we got to know that, he has a step-mom with whom his dad is spending a beautiful love life.

Curt Sandoval completed his school life at Westminster High School from 1980 to 1982. Afterward, he enrolled at the Metropolitan State College where he got a degree in sports communication in 1987.

Sandoval began his TV station career serving on 7News as a sports anchor/reporter. He worked there from August 1990 to August 1995.
Then, for four years from 1995 to 1999, he worked at KUSI TV in San Diego. He has also worked for over eight different TV stations up until his graduation.

After struggling a lot, Curt was finally able to join ABC7 Eyewitness News in 1999 where he works as a sports anchor. Subsequently, he won two Emmy Awards for his awesome performance on ABC7.

Whereas he also raised $5,000 for the Challenged Athletes Foundation and completed the 140-mile endurance event. Curt Sandoval is a happily married man as he tied the knot with his pretty wife Jeanne Zelasko on 13th June 1998. She is also a journalist and sportscaster.

Curt Sandoval Battle with Cancer
Back in October of 2014, Curt was identified with cancer as doctors found lymphoma in his throat. After the diagnosis, both his profession and personal life suffered.

However, Sandoval never gave up and fought cancer and eventually defeated it. As of now, he is cancer-free and living a healthy, fit, and fine life.
Sadly, just like himself, Curt's wife Zelasko too was treated for thyroid cancer on 30th December 2007. Her circumstances were so much critical, as she had only a 1% chance of surviving the disease. Dan Bell, a Fox spokesman said;
"She'll be out for as long as her treatment takes. We can't wait to have her back in her MLB studio chair in April."
Like her husband Curt, she later returned to her work fighting against it.

Talented woman, Jeanne Zelasko is a journalist and sportscaster. She is known for working for "The Beast" AM980 KFWB and Fox Sports West. She firstly did a job in metro traffic reports and hosted a talk show on KCEO radio.
Firstly, she started her career in 1993 working at KDCI-TV News in San Diego. She was also a member of NASCAR on Fox where she worked as a pit reporter.
